The Bureau of the Royal Household will open Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall within the Grand Palace to allow members of the public to pay their last respects to the late Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother from 9 November 2025 onwards. Tourists are also allowed to visit the Grand Palace as usual, starting from 9 November onwards.
For mourners paying their respects to the late Queen Mother:
- They are allowed to pay their respects to the late Queen Mother every day, from 08.00 to 21.00 hr;
- They must pass through the security screening point and receive their queue numbers for entry at the Na Phra Lan underground pedestrian tunnel;
- They will enter the Mani Noppharat Gate and follow the walking routes designated by the Bureau of the Royal Household;
- They are requested to dress in respectful mourning attire. For men, they must not wear jeans, while women are required to wear skirts or pha nung (traditional wrap skirts).
For tourists visiting the Grand Palace:
- They are allowed to visit the Grand Palace from 08.30 to 15.30 hr;
- They will enter the Mani Noppharat Gate and pass through the security screening point;
- Tourists are not allowed to visit Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall during this period of mourning;
- They will walk toward Chakri Charan Road passing through the Phiman Chai Si Gate, and turn left in front of the Ratsadakorn Phiphat Hall to visit the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles. Then they will exit via the Wiman Thewet Gate.
