His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on 7 November 2025 at 17.19 hr performed a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of the 15th day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
The ceremony took place in Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall within the Grand Palace. Members of the Royal Family also attended the fifteen-day funeral rites dedicated to the Queen Mother.
Upon their arrival in Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, Their Majesties the King and Queen laid a wreath in front of the royal urn of the Queen Mother. Then Their Majesties lit incense and candles for royal offerings and to pay homage to the royal remains.
Afterward, His Majesty the King lit incense and candles in paying homage to the Buddha image cast to commemorate Her Majesty the Queen Mother’s age in front of the throne, underneath the Nine-Tiered Great White Umbrella of State.
The congregation of 30 monks chanted prayers. Phra Phrom Vajirarangsi, abbot of Wat Bovoranives, gave a sermon. After the ceremony, His Majesty the King and Her Majesty Queen proceeded to pay homage to the late Queen Mother in front of the royal urn before taking leave.
