The Bureau of the Royal Household on 19 December 2022 issued the second announcement on the illness of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

Referring to the first announcement that Her Royal Highness has been hospitalized at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok since 15 December, after losing consciousness because of a heart condition, the announcement stated that the overall condition of Her Royal Highness has been stable to a certain extent.

The royal medical team reported that Her Royal Highness’s heartbeat is being controlled by medication. Results of her heart examination show that the systole is not yet functioning in a completely normal way. No abnormality was found, according to the results of a coronary angiogram.

The medical team has provided medication and machines to help the functioning of Her Royal Highness’s heart, lungs, and kidneys. It will continue to closely monitor the condition of the Princess.
