Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Executive Vice President of the Thai Red Cross Society, on 11 December 2025 presided over the opening of the Red Cross Fair 2025, being held from 11 to 21 December at Lumphini Park in Bangkok, between 11.00 and 22.00 hr.

The annual Red Cross Fair this year is held under the theme “Uniting People’s Hearts in Gratitude to the President of the Thai Red Cross Society.” Her Majesty Queen Sirikit served as President of the Thai Red Cross Society for 69 years (since 1956).

At the opening ceremony, Her Royal Highness viewed a performance in remembrance of the Queen Mother and the exhibition “69 Years of Royal Benevolence,” showcasing the Queen Mother’s work as President of the Thai Red Cross Society.

The fair features more than 200 booths and stalls selling a wide variety of food, handicrafts, and other products from royal projects, public and private organizations, and provincial Red Cross shops across the country.

It also includes interesting activities, such as games and cultural performances. Visitors may enjoy projection mapping shows, with royal musical compositions. The khon masked drama on the Story of Ramakian is staged every day throughout the 10-day period by the Bunditpatanasilpa institute of Fine Arts.

For their convenience, visitors are advised to visit the fair by public transport. They are also encouraged to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags, and avoid foam food containers to help reduce waste. The public may also visit the fair online via the website www.iredcross.org around the clock.

All proceeds from the fair go toward supporting the operations of the Thai Red Cross Society, which is a charitable organization dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance and medical services and improving the quality of life for those who are impoverished, disadvantaged, or affected by disasters.
