"Look Up BKK" festival supports Bangkok’s multiculturalism

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Ministry of Culture are collaborating to stage "Look Up BKK," an event that aims to highlight Bangkok's diverse population. The festival, which runs through 23 July, will include artistic and cultural elements that honor the capital's roughly 240-year legacy of pluralism. Chalermpon Chotinuchit, a deputy permanent secretary at the BMA, revealed that the festival will be used to foster creativity, advance the preservation of multicultural heritage, and stimulate the economy. The "Look Up BKK" festival will feature one-of-a-kind and uncommon traditional performances by local cultural organizations, along with handicraft workshops.
