Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah binti His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, President of the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD) launched the Tech Changemakers, held at the Park View Hotel.

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah in a sabda (royal speech), acknowledged that girl guides will be learning about Genetic Influences, Explore DNA Mode, Solar Ovens and will make their own soaps and crystals. 

The strategic collaboration between PPPBD and local IT company is to ensure that the programmes offered are educational and interactive by combining science and technology.

Meanwhile, Hajah Viviyanti binti Haji Md. Ali, Vice President of PPPBD in her remarks said that the initiative aligns with Her Royal Highness’s vision to empower members of the associations with knowledge, science and technology, while fostering a fun and positive experience.

Her Royal Highness also presented patches to participants.

A total of 57 PPPBD members from 10 secondary schools and higher education institutes across the country participated the activity.
