The Government is preparing to hold a garden party on the occasion of the coronation anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X), scheduled for 4 May 2024 at 19.00 hr at Santi Maitri Building, Government House.

The island of Phuket in southern Thailand has been selected as host of the Global Sustainable Tourism Conference (GSTC), to be held in April 2026 in Phuket.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, made an official visit to Thailand on 28-29 April 2024. A joint press statement on the visit was issued on 29 April, summarizing key points from the discussions between Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has stressed that the Government is ready to support exports of durian and other tropical fruits, such as mangosteen, rambutan, and longgong, in order to increase farmers’ income and upgrade their quality of life.

The day of 28 July marks the birthday of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (Rama X). Thai people have carried out various activities to show their loyalty to His Majesty the King on the occasion of his 71st birthday anniversary this year.
